This article will help you access the parent portal once your student has added you to their account. If you have not done that yet, follow these steps: Adding Your Parent to the myBYUI Portal. If your student has already added you to their account, find the confirmation that you should've received and follow the instructions below.
1. Find the email that was sent to your account. Click on "Activate Account" and it will take you to the page to create your password.
2. Once you have set your password and created your account, you will be able to use the "Parent/Family Login" button to log into the parent portal. my.byui.edu
When you log into your account, you will see the normal parent portal which has quick links for finances, tutoring, etc. as well as a campus and academic calendar for activities and important deadlines.
3. To switch between the parent view and the student view, click on the drop down menu right next to the "Widgets" title and click on your student.
Congratulations! You have successfully accessed the parent portal!
