Finding Housing in Rexburg

Updated on

If you are an incoming Freshman and are looking for housing for your time at BYU-Idaho, never fear! Finding housing in Rexburg is easy! Just use this simple guide!

Step 1: If you are 25 and younger, then you are required to live in BYUI approved housing. The best resource to find approved housing in Rexburg is at the BYU-Idaho Housing page. Click on the home page, scroll down, and you will find a list of university owned housing, as well as a list of off-campus housing. If you are married, you can also find married housing options.

Step 2: You can also use the "Approved Housing Search" tool to find complexes that fit your needs.

Step 3: If you're 26 or older, or are married, then congratulations, you are no longer required to live in approved housing! You can see what options and resources are available under the "Community Housing" tab including complexes with per-bed pricing, listing resources, and Facebook groups.

Step 4: If you feel like your situation may merit an exception for the Housing policy, then you can look at "Approved Housing Exceptions" and other tools under the Student Housing Resources.

Congratulations! You now have the tools you need to find housing in Rexburg!
