In order to complete your tax return for the previous year, BYU-Idaho will need to send you your W-2 if you worked in the previous year for them. The W-2 is a document that shows your total earnings for the previous year. Please ensure your name is correct by following the steps below.

Step 1: Sign in to your myBYUI account, then click on "Info" under Tools and select " My Demographic Profile"

Step 2: Verify that the legal name listed is correct. In some cases you may be required to submit a photo of your Social Security Card

Congratulations! You have now verified that your legal name is correct !!!
