Making a Payment to a Collections Debt File

After 270 days, the process to pay off a Past Due Debt changes, but worry not! The payment process is outlined here for you.

Step 1: Call the BYU-Idaho Support Center at (208)-496 1411. They will help you get in contact with the Accounting team so you can know how much is on the account and the best course of action to take.

Step 1: After calling the Support Center, go to my.byui.edu and log into your account.

Step 2: Click on Dashboard and scroll down, click "Make a Payment" under Balances

Step 3: On the right hand side of the page, click "Hold Account"

Step 4: Enter the amount of money that you would like to pay. If your unsure of the amount you owe, please contact us at (208) 496-1411 and ask to talk to the Collections Team. Then, click on "Add to Payment" to continue with the process.

Step 5: Choose where the money will be added to. At the bottom of the page, select "Continue"

Step 6: Now, you can choose the Payment Method that you would like to use. Then, click on "Continue"

Step 7: And last, review the information and select "Pay $(amount to pay)"

After making the payment, contact Collections at (208) 496-1411 to have the PDU1 hold removed from your account. Congratulations! You have paid your Past Due Debt!
