Dropping / Withdrawing from a Class

NOTE: Before dropping any courses, make sure you are aware of Upcoming Dates & Deadlines for the semester.

  • The date a course (or all courses) is dropped could affect your tuition refund amount, financial aid, housing, etc. See Dropping Classes or Leaving School. For further questions, please contact BYU-Idaho at (208) 496-1411.

(For questions regarding BYU-Pathway Online registration, students need to contact BYU- Pathway directly.) 

 

For questions about dropping or withdrawing from a class, please do the following:

Step 1: Log in to your BYU-Idaho Account.

Step 2: Hover your mouse over the Registration button.

Step 3: Click on "Add/Drop Courses"

Step 4: Click Add/Drop Course once again. If a block class click the drop down to select the term.

Step 5: Scroll down to the bottom to where you can see your courses.

  • Check the box next to each class you would like to drop.
  • Click "Drop Selected Courses".

I was not able to do all my assignments because of some other commitments I have which I forces the most. I was decide to withdraw from the class and continue next semester.
